Steam pes demo
It's just tiring, the AI will just execute the same 2-3 attack patterns that it's programmed to do over and over and over and over and over.
Steam pes demo Pc#
On pc you can unlock this and even try 15 or 20 minute matches which I recommend you do once or twice to see exactly why this is too much, lol. 5 minute matches against the AI seems ridiculously short but I think konami are fully aware that the less the playtime against the AI the better. I would advice people who didn't like 18 and are cautious with 19 to keep hitting the rematch button again and again. Their ability to find a man (even with long one time passes) is ridiculous. Your ability as a defender in closing spaces or putting pressure on the ball has zero influence as the CPU's pass accuracy is unaffected by my pressuring on the ball. You are basically relying on the AI "deciding that the CPU should make a mistake".
Steam pes demo full#
Even if you anticipate the pass with your full back and start running before the passe is made, the CPU's winger will still gets to the ball first - every time. The CPU has a tendency to lob passes to the wingers with pinpoint accuracy. The feeling of helplessness when trying to contain or close a passing lane is really frustrating. It destroys all the fluidity of the build up. I can't believe Konami is still insisting on this clunky system. The dribbles are still robotic and slow. Players should be running at different speed and this should be reflected in different animations, body angle, head angle, longer leg strides, etc. The sprint animation is lame and monotonous. That exploits a bad mechanic, which puts the defender always at a disadvantage. The only way to play in attack is with give-and-go passes. It's a sort of glitch, which makes the recipient turn awkwardly, freeze or just watch the ball sail past.
Steam pes demo manual#
50% of the manual passes are "not registered" by the intended recipient. It does a lot of things right (and there are a lots of improvements), but the legacy issues rear their familiar ugly heads. Once again players stumble for too long when dispossessed and take forever to recover Konami really should learn from FIFA as they have done a great job there Shielding / protecting the ball is badly missed as a feature. You don't get the sense of urgency, explosiveness and edge when you are on the break. Running feels awkward (too slow and at the same speed, with the same animation). Players split in two groups and leave huge spaces in midfield Putting pressure on the CPU counts for nothing - they will always find a pass
Steam pes demo pro#
The game does not reward good positioning as the CPU will always find a pin point pass (even on Pro level) even if you are covering the passing lane Playing defence is once again frustrating. Once again the CPU will always magically find a man when booting / clearing the ball The spin of the ball looks amazing when performing high passes Not sure if it was just me, but I saw many more fouls called on the CPU It feels really rewarding to bang one in from distance (or even when you miss - it just feels right and exciting)

Shooting feels spot on - both in terms of power and accuracy. Passes do not complete as often as 18 (both human and CPU) Stadium light, shadows, grass look very good Player models, textures, sizes, etc look very good. Played about 20 games - with different teams and different light situations I only have a small sample size of impressions but so far I am happy that they have seemed to improved the AI a lot this year especially on the defensive side. Can't really comment too much on shooting as I didn't get many opportunities but headers do seem a lot less accurate.

I noticed that FINALLY passes can go astray when under pressure and in my two matches I have already witness 4 fouls from the CPU which is great considering the length of the matches. Nevertheless, it may not matter too much because in the two matches both me and the CPU struggled to complete more than 80% of our passes. Not sure if I am making sense but once you play it you will understand. I feel like the through/lead pass and even 1 touch passes feel too assisted and accurate but regular passes and crosses feel like they are balanced correctly. The ball physic are in the league of its own but passing feels. The animations look great, I have seen heavy touches and even players miss judging passes for them to deflect off their foot. Played two 5 min (time limit is locked) matches of Monaco vs Shalke Top Player and I will definitely say that it has improved since last year.
